Working with a Report
This topic explains how to:
Print or export a Report compiled by a Report Template or Configured Template,
'Drill down' to related Report Templates, and
Export the contents of a specific table or chart in a Report to a CSV, JSON, or XML file.
If the Report was compiled by a Report Template, you can also modify the filters and re-generate the Report.
To work with a Report:
1. | Run a template to compile the Report, as described in Running a Report Template or Configured Template. |
The Report is displayed.
2. | To filter the contents of the Report, modify the filter fields at the top of the workspace (see Figure 15) and click SUBMIT. |

To access advanced filter fields for the following Report Templates, select the Enable Advanced Filters setting: VM - Distinct Scan VM - Vulnerability Aging VM - Vulnerability Variance |

3. | To export the Report to a PDF file, click PDF Export. |
To print the Report:
a. | Select Print > Print. |
b. | Complete the Print dialog, as appropriate for your Web browser. |
To 'drill down' in the Report's content, select a link or graph. For more information about the 'drill down' feature, see Drilling Down in a Report.
To export the contents of a table or chart in the Report to a CSV, JSON, or XML file:
a. | Scroll over the table or chart and select![]() |
b. | Complete the Export Results dialog (see Table 4) and click Export. |
Tip: |
If the Export button is disabled, click SHOW FILTERS, select Table under View Options, and then click Submit to re-run the template. |
