Configuration Management

The Configuration Management dashboard shows the results of Policy Scans on file systems. A Policy Scan scans an asset and compares it to a Policy benchmark.

Policy Results

The chart and table on the left show the current compliance status of your assets. By default, they show the status of all assets, but you can filter the results by asset or policy.

The Issues section is a prioritized list of issues to be resolved, scoped to the current assets and/or policies.

  • To investigate specific areas of concern, click anywhere on the chart or table. Click the green bars in the chart to see passing tests, and click the red bars to see failing tests.
  • To see details about a failing test and get remediation instructions, click a link in the Issues section.
  • To automatically remediate an issue:
    1. Click the Filter icon in the Issues section and select Fix Now Available.
    2. Click a link in the Issues section for more details on that Issue.
    3. Expand the Fix Now section and click Run Fix Now.

      Note:

To automatically remediate this Issue in the future, select Fix future issues with Automatic Response. Click View Automatic Responses to see the available Responses.
