File Integrity Monitoring

The File Integrity Monitoring dashboard shows the results of File Integrity Monitoring Scans on file systems. A File Integrity Monitoring Scan scans a curated set of files and registry data for change.

The chart at the top of the dashboard summarizes the total number of Assets scanned and how many of those Assets have critical changes.

From the All Assets table, you can drill into specific Assets to see detailed information about the changes on that Asset. Use the Table Settings to show or hide information in the table.

To explore the changes on an Asset:

1. In the All Assets table, click an Asset with changes.

   The Scanned Elements table lists one of the Asset's Elements on each row. You can toggle between two views:

   • Changed Elements shows only Elements that have changes.
   • All Elements shows every Element scanned on that Asset.

2. Click an Element with changes.

   The Element Change History shows specific values for that Element's Attributes over time.

3. For changes to the Element's content, click Show content diff to see a side-by-side comparison of the changes.
