Creating a Zoom Cloud Account
A Cloud Account is a cloud environment that Configuration Manager monitors. For more information about monitoring Cloud Accounts, see Getting Started with Configuration Manager.
Quick Start Video
This video provides a simplified overview of the procedure below.
To create a Zoom Cloud Account, you need to install an account-level authentication app to the Zoom account you want to monitor. You must have admin access to the account to install this app.
In addition, Configuration Manager requires two scopes in order to read various account and user settings to evaluate them for compliance, and to write to them for (optional) automated remediation:
- View and manage account info/account:write:admin
- View users information and manage users/user:write:admin

- In Configuration Manager, navigate to Environment > Cloud Accounts and click New.
- In the New Cloud Account pane, enter a Name and Description to identify this account.
- Select Zoom as the account type.
-
At the bottom of the screen, click the Add to Zoom button.
- Sign in to the Zoom account you want to monitor.
-
In the Zoom account, click Authorize at the bottom of the screen to install Configuration Manager.
After the installation is complete, Configuration Manager will populate the other fields in the New Cloud Account pane.
- The new cloud account is saved in Configuration Manager automatically. You can change the account's Name or Description if desired, otherwise close the New Cloud Account pane.

When you delete a Zoom cloud account in Configuration Manager, it is deauthorized in Zoom. All scan history data associated with the account will also be deleted from Configuration Manager.
- Navigate to Environment > Cloud Accounts.
- Select the Zoom account.
- Click Delete.

When you uninstall the Configuration Manager app in the Zoom App Marketplace, it is disconnected from your Zoom account. In addition, the cloud account and all of the scan history data associated with the account will be deleted from Configuration Manager.
- Log in to the Zoom Account associated with the cloud account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage > Installed Apps and search for Tripwire Configuration Manager.
- Click the Configuration Manager app.
-
Click Uninstall.
